Walter Rybicki, 55, of Marble Hill passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, in Jackson.

He was born July 27, 1968, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, to Walter E. and Carolyn Wehinger Rybicki.

Walter worked as a night stock clerk at Walmart in Jackson.

Walter married Karen Somerfeld on Oct. 31, 1998, in Midlothian, Illinois.

He was known for his love of playing video games, his avid cooking skills and his dedication to providing for his family.

Walter is survived by his wife, Karen Rybicki; brother, Robert Rybicki of Illinois; sister, Pamela Perillo; and brother-in-law, Robert (Mara) Chiocca of Illinois, and their daughter, Janessa. He is also survived by lots of other nieces and nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Nadine, Carol and Laurie.

Visitation and funeral service were held Saturday, June 15, at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating.
