Alice LeeAnn Jones, 88, of Sedgewickville passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at The Villas of Jackson nursing home.

She was born April 1, 1936, in Patton to Robert and Hilda Hardesty Limbaugh.

Alice and Bob R. Jones were married Feb. 1, 1953, in Patton.

She was homemaker.

She was a member of Sedgewickville United Methodist Church.

Alice was a volunteer at the Patton Fire Department and did many marches for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Cancer Association. She enjoyed being outdoors, often tending to her garden, caring for the farm animals and driving her tractor. She liked canning and was known as a jack of all trades.

Survivors include four children, Eddie Lee Jones of Sedgewickville, Carol Sue (Terry) Yamnitz of Patton, Gary Lynn (Cindy) Jones of Perryville and Mark Allen Jones of Perryville; daughter-in-law, Debbie Jones; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Michael Ray Jones; granddaughter, Stacy Lee Jones; grandson, Terry Ray Yamnitz; and two sisters, Alene (Clyde) Hoofard and Bea (Harold) McCoy.

Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday, June 21, at Ford and Liley Funeral Home in Patton. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Randy Shrum, will follow at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sedgewickville.

Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
