Trenton Braswell, a 2022 graduate of Woodland High School, was named the 2024 NJCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track and Field National Field Athlete of the Year.

Braswell, who hails from Marble Hill, dominated the throwing events all season, culminating in a clean sweep at the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

He won all four throwing events in Utica, New York: discus throw, hammer throw, javelin throw and shot put.

Braswell just finished his career at MAC and will be going to Evangel University next year.

He is the son of B.J. Wiesler Braswell and Travis Braswell.
